Pirgonj (Thakurgaon) correspondant: The mobile court has fined 4 medicine pharmacies in Pirganj, Thakurgaon. On Wednesday (August 3), Upazila Executive Officer and Executive Magistrate Shahriar Nazeer conducted a raid and fined 4 drug pharmacies Tk 31,000.
At that time Assistant Director of Thakurgaon Medicine Administration, Rahmatullah and Pirganj Thana Police provided full support to the mobile court. The pharmacies fined are 3000 to Peonia in front of Upazila Health Complex and 5000 to Kaya Pharmacy for selling physician samples, 3000 to Matri Seva Pharmacy for not having a drug license as their own, Shahadat Pharmacy at East Crossroads for selling foreign medicines and food supplements and physician samples. Because of this, a fine of 20,000 taka total 31 thousand taka. Later all the confiscated medicines were destroyed.
