During the T20I cricket match on Monday, the world-famous all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan became the first cricketer in the world to score 1000 runs and nab 100 wickets.

In his 83 innings of 84 T20 matches in Mirpur, Shakib, who entered the fifth and final match of the series with 98 wickets, caught 100 wickets by dispatching Australia's skipper Mathew Wade (22 runs) and Aston Turner (1).

He finally grabbed four wickets conceding nine runs with a maiden in 3. 4 over spell raising his tally to 102 wickets and was adjudged player of the match and player of the series against Australia.

Shakib, who completed 1000 runs in T20 a long time ago, currently has 1718 runs in the format, becoming the 2nd Bangladeshi cricketer in the format behind Tamim Iqbal, who made 1758 runs in 78 games.

Virat Kohli contributed 3159 runs in 90 matches, topping the list.

Shakib is the second bowler to complete 100 wickets in the format after Sri Lankan bowler Lasith Malinga took 107 wickets in 84 innings of 83 matches.

In the fifth and final T20I on Monday at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Bangladesh scored a huge victory of 60 runs, their second-largest margin of victory in terms of runs.

Against a 123-run target, Australia crumbled for 62, their lowest T20I score in history. Against England in 2005, they scored 79 for 10 in this format. This innings took just 13.4 overs for Australia to lose all their wickets -- they lost all their wickets faster than at any other point in time in international cricket. A run rate of 14 runs resulted in seven wickets being lost between 48 and 62 by Australia.

He bowled four overs that gave away 50 runs, which is his worst T20I bowling performance to date. Bangladesh lost by three wickets.
