Kamalnagar (Laxmipur) Correspondent: A local Chhatra League leader has been accused of demanding benefits in the name of Chhatra League from the rice allotted to the fishermen of Barakheri Union of Ramgati Upazila of Laxmipur. Barakheri Union Parishad Chairman and Awami League President of the same Union Hasan Maqsud Mizan made a complaint against Arman Hossain Bijay, general secretary of Mahmuda High School Students' League of the upazila. Chairman Mizan said that on August 22, he started distributing rice allocated to fishermen in Barakheri Union Parishad. Meanwhile, the local BCL leader Arman Hossain Bijay asked the fishermen to give benefits (rice) in the name of BCL by talking about various benefits from the allotted rice.

At that time, he told the BCL leader that the government gave this rice only to the fishermen, not for the BCL. Mahmuda High School Chhatra League general secretary Arman Hossain Bijay admitted that while distributing rice to the fishermen, I said that the chairman gives facilities to the people in front of him. Chhatra League is not given any opportunity.

Meanwhile, when an audio clip of the conversation between the chairman and the BCL leader was leaked, in that audio clip, the BCL leader can be heard saying to the chairman, "I am not getting any facilities even as a BCL leader."
