After 28 long years in the Copa America final, Argentina has won the title and there have been several joyous processions at the Brahmanbaria district headquarters. However, no untoward incident took place. The supporters of Argentina held these joyous processions in Dakshin Mourail, Purbapaikpara, and Kazipara areas of the municipal area around 8 am on Sunday. However, these processions were limited to the roads of the area. Argentina beat Brazil 1-0 to win the Copa America. As soon as the match was over, 20-25 Argentine supporters took out a procession from Bau Bazar junction in South Maura. In a few minutes of the procession began, there was no clash for police to come. The procession was dispersed. Police say they have taken adequate security measures in the event of a clash in the Copa America final. Police said warning miking had also been carried out.
