In a special operation of the Sherpur District Intelligence Branch DB Police, the drug kingpin Zahurul Kasai was arrested with 500 grams of ganja. He was arrested on October 10, Monday at 7:30 pm from Shimulchhara in Srivardi upazila. The arrested drug kingpin Zahurul Kasai is the son of Mokhed Ali of Shimulchara area.
According to DB police sources, the operation was conducted in Shimulchura area based on a secret informationis From there, Zahurul Kasai was arrested and brought to the DB office with ganja. Later, when he was handed over to the court on Tuesday afternoon on October 11, the court rejected his bail and ordered him to be sent to jail.
DB sub-inspector SI Saiful Islam, assistant sub-inspector ASI Zafar led the joint force in the anti-narcotics operation.
In this regard, DB OC Riyad Mahmud confirmed the arrest of drug dealer Zahurul Kasai and said that 15 cases are under trial in court in the name of the arrested drug dealer.There is no Police Superintendent of Sherpur. Under the command of Kamruzzaman, the campaign against drugs continues.
