Staff Reporter; 'Science and Technology; National Science and Technology Week 2024 was celebrated across the country with the theme 'Prosperity in Innovation'. Like every year, the 45th National Science and Technology Week was celebrated in Mirsrai. Under the supervision of National Science and Technology Museum, under the auspices of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Mirsarai Upazila Administration organized a science fair and prize distribution ceremony on February 3 (Saturday) at noon in the upazila auditorium hall room of Mirsarai.
Mahbub ur Rahman (Ruhel), Member of National Parliament of Chittagong-1 Constituency was present as the chief guest in the event. He visited the innovative-creative science projects of the students of different educational institutions of Atra upazila who participated in the fair. He expects that the creation of small scientists for public welfare will play a role in the creation of Smart Bangladesh inspired by Bangabandhu's daughter Hon'ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Later, he handed over certificates and crest as prizes to the winning students who participated in the various project exhibition competitions of Science and Technology Week 2024.
Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Mizanur Rahman, teachers and students of different educational institutions of Atra Upazila, UP Chairman, UP members, leaders of Awami League, Jubo League, Chhatra League, leaders of various political and social organizations and media workers working in various print and electronic media were also present.
