A man and his son went missing in the Karnaphuli river of Chattogram while they were fishing early today, said police. They are Probol Das, 42, and his son Samir Das, 16, of Patiya's Kholgao area.
"They went missing from Anu Majir ghat of the river while fishing around 5:30 am, said Md Shakhawat Hossain, officer-in-charge of Sadarghat Police Station. A team including river police is working to rescue the victims, said the OC. ABM Mizanur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Sadarghar River Police, also confirmed the incident.
