New doors of trade and investment between Bangladesh and Latin America have been opened
md masuduzzaman (rajib): A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Latin America-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LABCCI) and the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) was held at the BIDA Conference Hall on Wednesday.
Chief Guest Lokman Hossain Mia said, “The Memorandum of Understanding between BIDA and LABCCI has opened new doors for trade and investment between Bangladesh and Latin America”. This will increase the volume of trade and investment between Bangladesh and Latin American countries.
The MoU signing ceremony was presided over by Md Matiur Rahman, Executive Member (Additional Secretary), Marketing and Communication at BIDA Conference Room on Wednesday
Md. Anwar Shaukat Afsar, President, LABCCI and Nahid Ferdousi, Commercial Specialist, Embassy of Brazil, Bangladesh were present as special guests. LABCCI President, Md. Anwar said that prominent Bangladeshi and European businessmen will not participate in this mega event.
The delegation will be led by Salman Fazlur Rahman, (MP) Unofficial Advisor to the Prime Minister on Industry and Investment in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Argentina and Brazil.
