Staff Correspondent: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) is always ready to deal with any situation including ensuring internal law and order and security throughout the country on the occasion of the upcoming 12th National Parliament elections. BGB Director General Maj Gen A K M Nazmul Hasan BAM, NDC, PSC (Maj Gen A K M Nazmul Hasan, BAM, ndc, psc) said this at the 45th anniversary celebration of BGB's Force Support Wing on Sunday, September 24 at noon. A banquet was organized to mark the 45th anniversary of the Force Support Wing of the force at the BGB headquarters in Dhaka, Pilkhana. The Director General of BGB was present as the chief guest in the function and cut the cake to auspiciously start the anniversary. after BGB Director General said, Border Guard Bangladesh is cherished by the rich history and tradition of 228 years. This force has an unforgettable contribution in the great freedom struggle of 1971. Since its inception, BGB has been fulfilling the noble responsibility of protecting the country's sovereignty and border protection with great skill and professionalism. BGB's impeccable role in providing assistance to the civil administration in maintaining internal law and order in the country and in dealing with any emergency situation including natural calamities and in various works of nation building and public welfare is being widely appreciated. The Director General of BGB also said that in addition to border protection, BGB is always ready to deal with any situation including carrying out any responsibility assigned to BGB and controlling the law and order situation during elections. Senior officials of BGB headquarters, senior officials of Dhaka Metropolitan Police and various intelligence agencies, invited print and electronic media journalists and all levels of officers and soldiers of Force Support Wing were present.
