A fire broke out at Balukhali Rohingya camp under Ukhiya upazila in Cox's Bazar this evening.
Armed Police Battalion (APBn) Commander Superintendent of Police Md Naimul Haque confirmed the development to our Cox's Bazar staff correspondent.
The fire originated at Balukhali camp-16 around 5pm.
Four units of fire fighters from fire stations of Cox's Bazar Sadar, Ukhiya, Teknaf and Balukhali Rohingya camp are on the spot, fire service sources said.
The fire fighters along with policemen have been trying to control the blaze, they said.
Till filing this report at 6:15pm, the fire could not be brought under control.
