Morshedul Islam Shaju, Senior Staff Correspondent: The monthly law and Order Committee meeting was held at Homna in Cumilla. In the meeting- theft, drugs, child marriage, making rules for the management of kaumi madrasah education system in line with the basic education system, sewearage system, bus-minibus, CNG and battery operated auto rickshaw stands, passenger harassment, car parking all over the busy streets in front of various shopping malls, inside municipal areas. Various issues including traffic congestion, eviction of illegal structures and construction of footpath were discussed. The meeting was held at the Upazila Parishad Auditorium on the initiatives of the upazila administration today. It was presided over by Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Khemalika Chakma. Upazila Parishad Chairman Rehana Begum, Mayor Advocate Nazrul Islam, Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Mohosin Sarkar and Women Vice Chairman Nasima Akter Rina, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Yusuf Hasan, Thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Joynal Abedin, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Md. Abdus Salam Sikder, former commander of the Upazila freedom fighter Union Mosharrof Hossain, Union Parishad chairman Mofizul Islam Gani, Jahangir Alam Molla, Shahjahan Molla, Jasim Uddin Saudagar, Khandokar Jalal Uddin, Taijul Islam Molla and Mozammel Haque, journalists Morshedul Islam Shaju and Kamal Hossain and others spoke over the meeting
