Sherpur Sharidiya Durgotsav of orthodox religions is being celebrated for 5 days from October .
In this upazila including Sherpur district headquarter, 154 puja mandaps are organized in various arrangements. On this occasion, on the first day of Durgotsav on Saturday, in the evening, the Whip of the National Assembly of Bangladesh, freedom fighter Alhaj Md. Atiur Rahman Atiq MP visited various puja mandaps in the town of Sherpur district.
