Allegations of breaking the wall of the mosque in Badarganj and building a road

Mahabub Rahman Biplab, Rangpur Bureau Chief: On the first day of the BNP Jamaat siege in Rangpur's Badarganj, there was an intention to demolish the wall of the 300-year-old Buzruk Bagba Bara Jama Masjid.
A man named Abu Mucha took possession of a farmer's land, cut the soil, and built a road.
The locals said that Abu Mucha committed a grave crime by making a bad attempt to build a road through the mosque, a place of worship. There is a large gate at the front for people and a pocket gate at the back. Why is the boundary wall of the mosque broken? There is a fear of bloodshed due to the silence of the police administration. President of the mosque Alhaj Enamul Haque filed a complaint with the police station in the name of 41 people.
Even after three days passed, the police did not come to the spot to investigate. Meanwhile, the owner of the land, Sabbir, has filed a police complaint as a plaintiff for illegally constructing a road in Matiket by putting people over his ancestral property. There is a tense situation in the area surrounding the incident of breaking the boundary wall of the mosque.
Residents and Muslims say that there is a fear of conflict. The plaintiff in the case, Sabbir Alam, and the president of the mosque, Alhaj Enamul Haque, said that although two separate written complaints were filed with the police station, the police did not take any action even after three days of the incident.
The villagers said that our demand is that the mosque is the house of God, and we want appropriate punishment for those who broke the boundary wall and built a road through the mosque in a terrorist manner.
Accused Abu Mucha said that there is no way for me to travel due to the dispute between two groups in the village. Attempting to move through roads built on enemy land obstructed and threatened me. Finding no way, I tried to break the boundary wall of the mosque to find my way. I informed the president of the mosque and the union chairman about the demolition of the boundary wall of the mosque and the construction of the road.
On behalf of the president, Musalli and the owner of the land said that the president of the mosque himself has filed a complaint against those involved in the incident of breaking the boundary wall of the mosque.
