Biennial conference of Jatiya Party was held in Roumari and Rajibpur of Kurigram

Mizanur Rahman, Kurigram district representative: As the day of next twelfth national parliament election is approaching, the organizational activities of Kurigram district Jatiya Party are gaining momentum. Biennial conference of Jatiya Party of Roumari and Rajibpur upazilas was held yesterday on October 3.
Convener of Kurigram District Jatiya Party, former Member of Parliament A. was present as the chief guest. KM Mostafizur Rahman Mostak. Member Secretary retired Major Bir Muktijoddha Abdus Salam, Joint Convener of District Jatiya Party and former Chairman of Shaulmari Union Parishad Alhaj Md. Habibur Rahman Habil and others were present as special guests.
The biennial conference was held in the presence of district and upazila leaders. Nasir Uddin Lal presided over the biennial conference in the hall room of Roumari upazila in the morning and AKM Saifur Rahman Bablu conducted the meeting.
At the end of the meeting, the president of the newly elected committee of Roumari Upazila Nasir Uddin Lal and General Secretary Saifur Rahman Bablu, Vice President Lecturer Abu Saeed, Joint General Secretary Shahidul Islam and 71 member committee were given gifts.
In the afternoon, in the biennial conference of Jatiya Party in Rajibpur Upazila, the newly elected committee consisted of President Ibrahim Khalil Akand and General Secretary Shafiqul Islam, Vice President Advocate Emdadul Haque, Shah Mohammad Nur-e Shahi, Joint General Secretary Fazlul Haque Master, Golam Hossain, Ziaur Rahman, Organizing Secretary. A 71-member committee including Nasir Talukdar and joint organizing secretary Siraj Ud Daula was announced. The conference was presided over by Ibrahim Khalil Akand and moderated by Shafiqul Islam. Speakers in the conference said that we are determined to uphold ideal politics in Bangladesh by cherishing the ideals of Jatiya Party founder chairman Hussain Mohammad Ershad and current chairman GM Quader. At that time, newly elected general secretary of Roumari Upazila Jatiya Pati AKM Saifur Rahman Bablu said that if I am nominated for Jatiya Pati from Kurigram 4 seat in the next 12th National Assembly elections, I will win with a large number of votes with the support of the general public. President of the newly elected committee of Rajibpur Upazila, Ibrahim Khalil Akand said that I will work behind the party to nominate by gathering information from the grassroots level.
