Mahabub Rahman Biplab, Bureau Chief Rangpur: A monthly crime meeting was held under the chairmanship of Superintendent of Police, Rangpur Md Ferdous Ali Chowdhury (promoted to the post of Additional DIG) in Rangpur District Police Office conference room. It discussed overall progress in case investigation along with review of overall crime statistics of the district for the month of December-2023. Later, the Superintendent of Police thanked everyone for the overall law and order situation in the district for the month of December-2023.
Besides, he ordered everyone to work with utmost professionalism and sincerity to keep the law and order situation normal. At the beginning of the meeting, the Superintendent of Police gave the crest to his team including Inspector Md. Mustafa Kamal and Officer-in-Charge Pirganj for arresting the accused in the robbery case and recovering the goods. Si (Unarmed) Humayun Kabir of Narcotics Recovery DB presented the crest and financially rewarded the District Cyber Monitoring Cell for its cooperation in various tasks including lost mobiles.
