In July, Shakib Al Hasan was named the ICC's best cricketer. Through a vote, the ICC named the best cricketer of the month.
Upon being voted Men's Player of the Month, Shakib said: "It is an honor to be voted ICC Men's Player of the Month for July 2021. There were many exceptional performances, which makes this award even more meaningful."
