Md Masuduzzaman Rajib : Hanging body of mother and daughter recovered in Chattogram EPZ Bank Colony A team of EPZ police station recovered the hanging bodies of mother and daughter in Bank Colony area of Chattogram City Corporation. According to police and local sources, the bodies recovered on August 29 (Tuesday) are Md Shahjahan's wife Shahnaz Akhtar (23) and her daughter Nahar Eva (4). The deceased Shahnaz Begum and her husband worked in a garment factory. There were a family feud between the two. In the morning, when husband Shahjahan went to the factory, Shahnaz first hanged her daughter with an electric fan, and then Shahnaz herself hanged herself from the same rope. Police Inspector (Investigation) of EPZ police station confirmed that after receiving the news, the police recovered the dead body at the spot and sent it to the morgue for post-mortem.
