I urge all, irrespective of race, religion and caste, to come forward in building a self-sufficient Bangladesh. ” Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury, the founding president of LBP, made the remarks at a function organized at the party's central office in the capital's Kamalapur on Thursday (June 23rd) to mark the arrival of a large number of leaders and activists from across the country to join the Bangladesh Party (LBP).
Referring to the day when the rising sun of independence of Greater Bengal and the entire Indian subcontinent set in the Mango field of Plassy on June 23, he added that at this moment, there is no alternative to the unity of all, inspired by patriotism. The LBP (Love Bangladesh Party) was born out of the demands of time.
Among others present on the occasion were International Relations Secretary ATM Rafiqul Islam, Financial Secretary Wahduzzaman, and Organizing Secretary Masud Ibrahim. It may be mentioned that the elected leaders of LBP under the leadership of Dhaka Metropolitan President Younus Babul are: Bhatara Thana President Kazi Abu Farah, Badda Thana President - SM Mahbub, Sohrab Hossain, Abul Kalam Azad, Ismail Hossain, Maulana Shoriful Islam (Gazipur), Abdur Rahman (Sunamganj).
