Staff Correspondent Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will address a press conference this afternoon to inform the media about the outcome of attending the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York. Prime Minister's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told the media that the press conference will be held at his official residence Ganabhaban on Friday at 4 pm. The Prime Minister returned to the country on Wednesday after a 16-day official visit to the United States and the United Kingdom. During her stay in New York and Washington DC from September 17-29, the Prime Minister attended the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) and other high-level and bilateral events and attended the reception given to the Bangladeshi diaspora in the United States. He also visited Bangladesh Embassy in Washington DC. The Prime Minister received several courtesy calls and was feted by the Bangladeshi diaspora in the UK.
