Mahabub Rahman Biplab, Rangpur: Police recovered the body of a young man named Mokaddes from a pond 20 days after he joined the railway service in Badarganj, Rangpur. His body was found from a pond in Baluavata village on Thursday afternoon. It is known that the police recovered the body of a person in Baluavata village in Badarganj municipality of Rangpur on Thursday. The dead man's name is Mokaddes. Father deceased Samad Mandal. Home in Kazirhal village of Phulbari Dinajpur.
According to Badarganj Railway Master, Mokaddes joined the position of railway woman on December 28. A railway colleague of the deceased, on condition of anonymity, said that he was not a suicidal person, the criminals had definitely killed him and dumped his body in the pond and escaped.
Neighbor Zahidul Islam said that the deceased Mokaddes lived in the house next to the pond. When the police recovered the body from the pond, they saw blood on his face. He was killed in a planned manner.
Badarganj police station officer Latif Mia said, his family has been informed, now the body has been sent to Rangpur morgue for post-mortem.
