Nagorik Oikya convener Mahmudur Rahman Manna on Saturday said Awami League cannot stay in power without support from India.
"Sheikh Hasina-led government cannot stay in power without India's support," he said in a program held at Jatiya Press Club in the capital of Dhaka.
He said some fools rule the country. One of them is the foreign minister who has many quotes which will remain in history, people read these and say people are like that!
Referring to his last quote "I have urged the government of India to keep Sheikh Hasina in power", Manna questioned, "If Sheikh Hasina can stay in power with people's support, why did he (foreign minister) say this to India?"
The Nagorik Oikya convener also said the AL government will be forced to flee the country like Sri Lanka if people when people wake up.
