desk news : Recently culinary artist Tanya Sharmin become 'Eid Desert Queen-2023' champion. . The contest is organized by the reputed media agent 'Daily Woman Bangladesh'. It was held on Friday, August 25 at the Women's Voluntary Association Auditorium, Dhanmondi. National Press Club president reputed journalist Farida Yasmin was the chief guest on the occasion. She crowned the champions.
Convener of the program Babul Hridoy, founder and managing director, Daily Woman Bangladesh, joint convener Hasina Ansar, member secretary of the program celebration committee journalist and social worker Sumon Chowdhury, program advisor Khondokar Mofizul Islam and president of the program Rehana Parveen were present.
Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs Mohammad Saiful Islam, eminent music artist Fatema Tuz Zohra were present as special guests on the event.
About 2000 culinary artists including culinary expert Shaheen Afroz were present. Special honors were given to culinary expert Shaheen Afroz and renowned music artist Fatema Tuz Zohra on the Desert Queen stage. In his speech, the chief guest thanked Babul Riday and journalist Sumon Chowdhury for organizing such a beautiful event for women. Apart from encouraging all the contestants who participated in this event, He advised to teach cooking to men as well as it is not just for girls anymore.
