Alam Khan: Lion Md. Gani Mia Babul, Chief Advisor of Writers Development Center, said that mutual cooperation, genuine love and positive thinking are essential for establishing peace and success. To achieve, develop and expand all these qualities, aesthetic literary practice must be increased.
He said these words as the inaugurator of the discussion meeting titled "Priyatama", poetry reading, award presentation and cultural program organized by the Writers Development Center on the afternoon of April 26 (Saturday) at the Bangladesh Shishu Kalyan Parishad Auditorium in Dhaka. He also said that the source of inspiration and strength for a man's work is his beloved. Similarly, behind the success of a woman, her beloved person also provides inspiration and strength. He also said that to establish peace in the society, indigenous and aesthetic culture must be expanded. Children must be educated and developed in the light of indigenous culture and religious values. The event was moderated by Poet Touhidul Islam Kanak, Executive Director of the Writers Development Center, and Poet Roli Akhter. World-renowned poet Dr. Jahangir Alam Rustom spoke as the chief guest. Poet Mustafa Habib spoke as the chief discussant at the event, chaired by Professor Dr. Mu. Nazrul Islam Tamiji, Advisor of the Writers Development Center. Jagrat Mahanayak Shihab Alam Rifat spoke as the special guest. In addition to the members and leaders of the organization, more than a hundred poets, literary and musical artists of the country participated in the event.
