In today's meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC), 10 projects worth BDT 4,246.72 crore have been approved. Among these, BDT 3,632.01 crore will be funded by the government, BDT 205.79 crore by project loans, and BDT 408.92 crore by the respective organizations' own funding.
The approval was given under the chairmanship of Professor Muhammad Yunus, Chief Adviser of ECNEC, in a meeting held at the NEC conference room of the Planning Commission. Following the meeting, Planning Adviser Wahiduddin Mahmud briefed the press in the NEC conference room. The meeting was attended by officials from the Planning Ministry and the Commission.
During the meeting, the planning adviser informed the ECNEC members about nine projects that had already been approved. These include:

Nahid Islam; Youth, Sports and LGD Adviser Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan; Shipping, Labour and Employment Adviser Brigadier General (Retd.) M. Sakhawat Hossain; Religious Adviser A.F.M. Khalid Hossain, along with other concerned officials.
