Md.Masuduzzaman Rajib,Staff Reporter. A BNP leader named Mir Arman Hossain (50) was stabbed to death on Thursday night due to a dominance dispute in Jangal Chalimpur area of Sitakunda circle of Chattogram district. It is known that he was a resident of Jangal Chalimpur No. 4 society and was the former Forest and Environment Affairs Secretary of Sitakunda Upazila BNP. Sitakunda Circle Additional Superintendent of Police Labib Abdullah confirmed the incident to the media on Friday morning. According to local and police sources, someone received a call on the cell phone of the slain BNP leader Arman in an area near his home. As soon as he received the call, the miscreants stabbed him. On hearing the news, his relatives rushed to rescue him and took him to the hospital where the doctor on duty declared him dead. It is initially known that the murder happened due to dominance in the area and the police is working to unravel the real mystery of the murder.
