Staff Reporter : November 28, 2024: The Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) organized a workshop on the "Integrated Resource Management System (IRMS) and Progress of the Digital Archiving System" today at the BIDA Multipurpose Hall. Mr. Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun, Executive Chairman of BIDA and BEZA, attended the event as the chief guest and highlighted the importance of using digital tools to smooth investment processes in Bangladesh. The session was chaired by Dr. Khandoker Azizul Islam, executive member and secretary of BIDA. He highlighted the ongoing efforts to modernize BIDA’s operations to create a more investor-friendly environment. Mr. Sirazul Islam from Business Automation highlighted key challenges in the IRMS digital archiving project. All BIDA officials joined the workshop.
