Abu Tarek Badhon (Pirganj): A meeting of the government-recognized drug traders' organization Bangladesh Chemist and Druggist Association has been held in Pirganj, Thakurgaon. On Wednesday (July 2), at around 11 am, the Bangladesh Chemist and Druggist Association Pirganj Upazila branch organized this meeting with drug traders of Lohagara and Senua Bazar at Haji Market in Lohagara Bazar of the upazila.
The meeting, chaired by Golam Rabbani, General Secretary of Pirganj Upazila branch of Bangladesh Chemist and Druggist Association, was attended by Rifat Hossain, General Secretary of Thakurgaon Drug Administration (Drug Supervisor), Rajiur Rahman Raju, former president Hamidul, and others. At the meeting, speakers urged drug dealers not to charge prices beyond the price set by the drug company, not to sell counterfeit, adulterated, expired, and unapproved drugs, not to sell drugs without a doctor's prescription, and to sell drugs in accordance with the drug company's sales rules and government sales rules.
