Interim Executive Committee of Bangladesh Judicial Association is constituted

Zakir Hossain (Galib) as President and Brahmanbaria Women and Child Abuse Prevention Tribunal learned Judge (District and Session Judge) Md. The Interim Executive Committee of Bangladesh Judicial Association has been constituted with Farooq as the General Secretary. This news has been reported in a press release of Bangladesh Judicial Service Association.
Other members of the committee are Cox's Bazar Women and Child Abuse Prevention Tribunal learned Judge (District and Sessions Judge) Md. Noore Alam (GKU) and Additional District and Sessions Judge of Narayanganj Umme Sharaban Tahura Vice President and Tangail learned District and Sessions Judge Laila Sharmin Organizing Secretary .
Other members are, Abul Kalam Azad, Research and Reference Officer (Joint District Judge) Bangladesh Supreme Court, Md Zakar Hossain, Learned Senior Judicial Magistrate, Noakhali, Md Abbas Uddin, Learned Senior Judicial Magistrate, Comilla, Mohammad Asaduzzaman, Learned Senior Judicial Magistrate, Comilla. Assistant Judge, Tangail, Md. Minhazur Rahman, District Legal Aid Officer (Senior Assistant Judge), Rangpur, Mohammad Shihab Uddin, Learned Senior Assistant Judge, Jamalpur, Arifur Rahman, Learned Senior Judicial Magistrate, Amtali Chowki, Barguna, Md. It is known that the current executive committee of the Bangladesh Judicial Service Association has expired and the constitution of the association has been amended to create equal opportunities for all judges. It is important to organize committee elections accordingly. In addition, as a reflection of the intention of all the judges, all the members of the current executive committee of Bangladesh Judicial Service Association have resigned voluntarily, so an interim executive committee has been constituted.
The Interim Executive Committee shall immediately convene an emergency meeting to amend the constitution including democratization of each post of the association within the next 15 days, organize the election of the Executive Committee and hand over the responsibilities to the Executive Committee. Note that none of the judges serving on this Interim Executive Committee will participate in the upcoming elections.
