Jessore Press Club Election : President Zahid Editor Tauhidur

Jessore District correspondant: Zahid Hasan Tukun was re-elected as President and SM Tauhidur Rahman as General Secretary in the biennial elections of Jessore Press Club.

Non-stop polling was held on Saturday (July 27) from 10 am to 3 pm. 86 voters exercised their right to vote. Advocate Mohammad Ishaq, chairman of the election management committee, announced the results in the afternoon after the polling.

Elected to other posts are Vice-Presidents Ohabuzzaman Jhantu and Sheikh Dinu Ahmed, Treasurer Zahid Ahmed Liton, Office Secretary Abdur Quader, Sports and Cultural Secretary Dewan Morshed Alam.

The winners of the executive member 6 positions are - Shahid Joy, Habibur Rahman Milan, Safiq Saeed, Saifur Rahman Saif, Shikder Khalid and Abdul Wahab Mukul. Joint Secretary SHM Zahidul Kabir Milton and Kazi Ashraful Azad won unopposed.
