Looking back, it becomes clear that 2025 was not simply a measure of time. It was a defining chapter in my life. Political struggle, social responsibility, and journalistic integrity intersected throughout the year, shaping both my actions and my reflections. I faced multiple battles—political, social, and professional. Not every struggle ended in victory, yet the number of defeats was limited. More importantly, each challenge strengthened my resolve and sharpened my understanding of responsibility and ethics.
The Political Context: The End of an Era
One of the most significant political events of 2025 was the departure of Begum Khaleda Zia from active political life. In the history of Bangladesh, her role transcends that of a former prime minister. To many, she symbolized resistance, hope, and political perseverance. Her departure marked the end of an era and raised crucial questions about the future of leadership, democratic accountability, and public trust. Having been involved in political movements and humanitarian initiatives under her leadership, I learned a fundamental lesson: politics is not merely about power—it is about responsibility, endurance, and honesty toward the people.

Through Chattal Chitra and The Tourist, we worked consistently to deliver verified, relevant, and responsible information to our readers. The Tourist in particular became a platform for presenting Chattogram’s history, culture, tourism, and human stories to a global audience. It served not merely as a publication, but as a bridge between local identity and international recognition.
“Sada Kalo News House”: The Courage of Clarity
One of the most meaningful achievements of 2025 was the progress of Sada Kalo News House. Our guiding principle has always been clarity—calling white “white” and black “black.” Through this platform, we addressed issues of corruption, human rights violations, and social injustice with careful analysis and ethical responsibility. Our goal was not only to report events but to help readers understand reality. We believe that journalism can—and must—serve as the conscience of society.
Social and Personal Life: Meaningful Gains
