Abdus Sabur Khan from Tongi: On Wednesday (September 23), an initiative to spray insecticide for dengue mosquito prevention was carried out across various locations in Ward No. 56. This program was organized by Md. Akbar Hossain Faruk—who serves as the No. 1 Joint Convener of the Gazipur Metropolitan Jubo Dal and Convener of the Tongi East Thana Jubo Dal—using his own funds; he is also a prospective candidate for the Councilor post in Ward No. 56 of the Gazipur City Corporation. He was accompanied by BNP leaders Javed Mahmud, Abdus Quddus Shimul, Masud Chowdhury, Md. Dulal, and Salauddin Moral, as well as Jubo Dal leaders Abdus Salam, Md. Sujan, and Md. Munna, along with leaders and activists from the BNP and its affiliated organizations. Md. Akbar Hossain Faruk stated that the insecticide spraying program aimed at raising awareness and preventing dengue mosquitoes would continue, adding that they would work unitedly for the welfare of the people and a healthy, bright future.
