Roknuzzaman Sabuj Jamalpur: The students of Polisha High School in Madarganj, Jamalpur have protested and human chained to demand the release of Acting Headmaster Samiul Islam. On Thursday (October 3) morning, the students boycotted classes and took out a protest march from the school ground to Motherganj Sarishabari via Tangail highway and stationed at Polisha intersection. Later, the school came to the field and formed a human chain. Hundreds of students took part in the human chain and raised various slogans demanding the release of Acting Headmaster Samiul Islam. School students Noor Mohammad, Manjila, Monira Jahan, Farina, Raihatun Jannat Madhurya etc. spoke in the human chain. The students immediately demanded the release of their acting headmaster. It is to be noted that Mizanur Rahman, joint convenor of Upazila BNP, filed a sabotage case as a plaintiff. In this case, Motherganj Model Thana Police arrested Samiul Islam, Acting Headmaster of Polisha High School, Education and Human Resources Secretary of Adarvita Union A'League, in a raid last Tuesday night. Currently he is in Jamalpur Jail.
