News Desk: Mohammadpur Police have arrested seven people involved in various crimes including assault on police and drugs in a special operation conducted in various areas under Mohammadpur Police Station in the capital.
On Monday (March 17), Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Mohammadpur Zone Assistant Police Commissioner (AC) AKM Mehedi Hasan said that seven people were arrested in a drive conducted in various crime-prone areas of Mohammadpur on Sunday (March 16).
The arrested are Qayyum Pappu (53), Rakib (24), Sharif (30), Al Amin (43), Hannan (43), Habib (48), Faruk Ahmed (42). Among them, three were arrested in a drug case, two under the Speedy Trial Act, one in a fraud case and one in an assault on police case. He also said that the arrested accused have been sent to court.
