A child has died following a head-on collision between a pickup truck and an autorickshaw in Patiya Upazila, Chattogram. The child's mother was seriously injured in the incident and is currently hospitalized.
The accident occurred around 12 PM on Saturday, February 1, in front of the Jamiriya Madrasa Gate near Patiya Railway Station. The deceased child was the son of Jubayer, from Azizur Rahman Soodagar's house in Ward 8 of Patiya Municipality.
According to reports, the collision took place in front of the Jamiriya Madrasa near Patiya Railway Station around noon, when the pickup truck and autorickshaw crashed head-on. The child, who was traveling with his parents, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. The child's mother, who sustained serious injuries, has been admitted to the hospital.
