Kurigram Correspondent: 12.09.25 The final game of the "Shaheed Nur Alam Memorial" chess competition organized by the Kurigram District Branch of Bangladesh Democratic Student Union has been held. Shaheed Nur Alam's father Md. Amir Hossain inaugurated the competition at the July Memorial Library at College Crossing on Friday afternoon at 5:30 pm. 16 contestants participated in the said chess competition. Dr. Atiq Mujahid, central joint convener of the National Citizens Party (NCP), distributed prizes among the winners after the three rounds of chess competition. Present at the time were Bangladesh Democratic Student Union Kurigram District Branch Member Secretary and District Sports Association Member Md. Sadiqur Rahman and District Democratic Student Union Convener Zahid Hasan and others.
