Enamul Haque, Sirajganj Bureau Chief::BNP central executive committee member and district BNP general secretary Saidur Rahman Bachchu expressed his condolences to the family of journalist Pradeep Kumar Bhowmik, who was killed in the anti-discrimination student movement in Raiganj, Sirajganj. Pradeep Kumar Bhowmik was working as Joint General Secretary of Raiganj Press Club and Upazila Representative of Daily Khabarpatra.

On Tuesday (September 10) afternoon, he went to Nimgachi's house in Sonakhara Union of the upazila and expressed his condolences. When he reached that house, a sad atmosphere was created. Later, Santhana and her son Sujan Kumar handed over 50,000 rupees in cash to the bereaved family. Meanwhile, Bachchu visited the house of Lebu, a rickshaw puller son of Jaitullah Sekh of Dumrai village of Chandaikona Union, who was killed by the police during the student-janata movement in Dhaka, and Nazrul Islam, a garment worker, son of Jamal Sekh of Barivag village of Brammagacha union, who was killed by the police in Gazipur of Dhaka, and offered condolences and financial assistance. .

During these condolences, Saidur Rahman Bachchu said that the dictatorial Sheikh Hasina government has fallen in this mass uprising of the students. We got this freedom in exchange for the lives of the students. We do not want to see any new dictatorship in Bangladesh. There will be no place for dictatorship in Bangladesh. He said that on the instructions of the acting chairman of the party, Tariq Rahman, he is going from house to house to inquire about the families of the martyred students. I extended my hand to help them. We will do everything necessary for the families of martyred students. We are always by their side, and will be in the future too, Inshallah.
