Staff Reporter: Director General of the Film and Publication Department Abul Kalam Mohammad Shamsuddin has been elected as the President of BCS Information Association and Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Md. Mamun Ur Rashid has been elected as the Secretary General. The BCS Information Association election was held at the Information Building on Saturday.
About 97 percent of voters exercised their right to vote in the election. The newly elected President and Secretary General will serve for the next two years.
It is noted that The newly elected President Abul Kalam Mohammad Shamsuddin is of the 18th batch of the BCS Information-General Cadre and the newly elected Secretary General Md. Mamun Or Rashid is of the 36th batch.
