Chattogram’s Cheragi Pahar-based Sada-Kalo Multimedia News House recently witnessed a special occasion. To mark the visit of Golam Sarwar Khan, South Asia Officer of the International Human Rights Commission, Legal Affairs Secretary of BNP Denmark, and Organizational Secretary of BNP European Union, a felicitation program was organized by the institution. Writer and journalist Mohammad Kamal Uddin was also present on the occasion. On behalf of the organization, heartfelt greetings and congratulations were extended to Mr. Sarwar Khan.
Mohammad Kamal Uddin said that Golam Sarwar Khan is a proud son of Chattogram. He is not only an established political and human rights organizer both at home and abroad but has also made a remarkable name in the media industry. This event stands as a gesture of appreciation from the people of Chattogram for his long-standing contributions to journalism and human rights.
During his visit, Golam Sarwar Khan highly praised the quality work and news delivery of Sada-Kalo Multimedia News House. He remarked that the institution is not merely an online platform in Chattogram; it has earned national and international recognition for maintaining high standards in multimedia journalism and publishing fact-based investigative reports. He expressed optimism that journalism rooted in truth, reality, and human values can raise public awareness and bring positive change to society.
Golam Sarwar Khan further stated that he has already obtained permission to operate a news platform online and is ready to extend all possible support and cooperation to this Chattogram-based media organization. Despite living in Denmark, he pledged to provide continuous assistance and guidance to help Sada-Kalo Multimedia News House grow stronger and achieve international recognition.
On behalf of the organization, Mohammad Kamal Uddin said,
“Golam Sarwar Khan is not just a media personality; he is a human rights activist who has long stood for truth, justice, and citizens’ rights. Our association with him is a matter of pride and will set a new example for Chattogram’s media community.”
During the visit, Golam Sarwar Khan reviewed all activities of the news house, especially its national and local news sections, online news portal, and multimedia reporting units. Praising their initiatives, he said,
“Any organization that publishes fact-based, investigative, and quality news strengthens the country’s media landscape. Sada-Kalo Multimedia News House is a perfect example of such excellence.”
This visit was not merely a ceremonial gesture—it marked a new milestone for Chattogram’s media industry. The contribution of Sada-Kalo Multimedia News House in promoting international-standard journalism, human rights awareness, and investigative reporting has now gained further recognition on the global stage.
At the conclusion of the program, Golam Sarwar Khan extended heartfelt thanks to everyone present and reaffirmed his commitment to providing all kinds of support and guidance to help the organization evolve into an internationally reputed media house.
Through this event, the significance of social responsibility, investigative journalism, and fact-based reporting was once again emphasized in Chattogram’s media sphere, inspiring local journalists and institutions to pursue even higher standards of journalism.
