News Desk: Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Haque said that Jamaat-Shibir will be banned by executive order by Wednesday (July 31). The minister said this while talking to reporters at the secretariat on Tuesday (July 30).
Earlier, in view of the conflict-violence surrounding the student quota movement, a decision was taken to ban Jamaat-Shibir in a meeting of 14 parties led by Awami League.
After the meeting, General Secretary of Awami League Obaidul Quader said that BNP-Jamaat is involved in a conspiracy to make the country ineffective through anarchy. It was unanimously decided to ban Jamaat-Shibir in a meeting of 14 parties to eliminate anti-national evil forces in national interest.
