Faridpur Correspondent: A poet literary conference, Kalapata Literary Festival, was held at the traditional Baburbari Zamindar Bari in Sadarpur, Faridpur on Saturday (January 25) at 10 am under the management and organization of Sahitya Parishad Sadarpur.
The event was organized by poet Gangchil Babu under the chairmanship of poet Gangachil Babu, Azgar Ali Foundation, Kaulibera, Bhanga, Faridpur, Sadarpur Kantha Chayan, Sadarpur, Faridpur, Charbhadrasan Lekhak Parishad, Charbhadrasan, Faridpur, Sadharan Nagorik Samaj, Bhanga, Faridpur, and Baisharoshi Zamindar Bari became bustling with the presence of poets and writers from different districts and upazilas of the country.
The event was moderated by Imarat Hossain Bachchu. In addition to their own poems, the poets recited poems, rhymes and essays by various poets.
At the event, the poets recited poems in turn without interruption under the title "Kavitai Baktaab". No one was given the opportunity to speak. At this time, the poetry-loving audience and guests who came enjoyed the captivating beauty of the traditional zamindar house. In addition to Aurobindo Chakraborty, editor of Bharat Bichitra, a large number of poetry lovers, poets-literature and editors and publishers of various magazines were present at the event.
Fiction writer Gangachil Babu said in his speech - "Drut ber ho kash ar dhir ber ho ras" We have been organizing this Kalapata literary festival for several years. We are gradually getting a response from poets and writers located in different parts of the country to this event. With the cooperation of everyone, we will be able to move forward.
This colorful event ended in the afternoon with all the poets and writers sitting on the ground and eating khichuri on banana leaves.
