Introduction ceremony of new members at Banani Women’s Club

Shohel Rana : On last Saturday( 12 September) at Six Seasons Hotel in Dhaka, Banani Women’s Club organised a grand luncheon and introduction ceremony to welcome its Executive Committee (EC) members and new members. The gathering was held.

All members of the club attended the programme, which was organised and conducted under the overall supervision of Club President Aklima Rahman, Secretary Fahmida Sinha Palash, Executive Committee member Mrs Nazma Masud and other EC members. Renowned television drama and film director Chayanika Chowdhury also graced the occasion as a special guest, adding further charm to the event. Banani Women’s Club organised a grand luncheon and introduction ceremony to welcome its Executive Committee (EC) members and new members. The gathering was held on September 12 at Six Seasons Hotel in the capital.

Later, a delightful cultural programme was presented with the participation of club members. A lively performance by popular singer Akhi Alamgir added a special dimension to the celebration.
 

Speaking at the programme, the club’s newly appointed Joint Secretary, Nazma Masud, outlined the organisation’s future plans to promote women’s self-reliance and support underprivileged children.
