Injured participants from the July Uprising have blocked a road in Shyamoli, demanding rehabilitation for the injured, the cancellation of the category system, and better medical treatment in a timely manner. This has caused a traffic disruption, leading to difficulties for ordinary people.
On Sunday (February 2), around 11:30 AM, the injured from the July Uprising, who are receiving treatment at the Pangu Hospital and Eye Hospital, started their protest on the road.
Officer-in-charge (OC) Mohammad Golam Azam of Sher-e-Bangla Nagar police station stated that the injured individuals were blocking the entire road in front of the Pangu Hospital, which resulted in traffic disruptions.
Previously, on Saturday night (February 1), the injured had been protesting in front of the Pangu Hospital until late at night, raising the same demands.
