Benjamin Rafique : Lion Md. Gani Mia Babul, Central Chairman of Writers Development Center, said that children are the greatest wealth of the world. Developing the latent talents of children requires a concerted effort by all. Children usually follow and imitate the activities of adults. So adults should always treat children humanely and aesthetically. He also said that effective steps are needed by all the society to establish and protect the rights of underprivileged children. Native cultural practices should be increased to inculcate human qualities in children. He urged everyone to always treat children well and positively for their healthy development.
He said these things during the chief guest's speech at the 'recital, dance and music performance' and discussion meeting organized by children's literature and culture center 'Shishunandan' in the afternoon of October 19 (Saturday) at Dhaka University's Natmandal Auditorium.
Under the chairmanship of the president of the organization, Kavi Rabiul Ravi, poet Abdul Qayyum of West Bengal, poet Abdul Gani Bhuiyan and poet Nazrul Bangali spoke as special guests.
At the beginning of the program, the chief guest of the program, Lion Md. Gani Mia Babul, was felicitated by the organizers.
