Shah Ali Bachchu Staff Reporter Jamalpur.: Sharifpur Union Chhatra Dal General Secretary Amit Hasan Robin lost his post after expressing anger on Facebook about the BNP's Chandina mass procession in Jamalpur Sadar Upazila on August 5, the anniversary of the just mass uprising across the country.
On Tuesday night, a letter signed by Bangladesh Nationalist Chhatra Dal Jamalpur Sadar Upazila East Branch Convener Md. Sabbir Ahmed and Member Secretary Md. Aslam Uddin informed about the dismissal.
The dismissal letter mentioned that - according to the decision of Bangladesh Nationalist Chhatra Dal, Jamalpur Sadar Upazila East Branch, based on specific allegations of violation of organizational discipline, Sharifpur Union Chhatra Dal General Secretary Md. Robin Hasan (Md. Amit Hasan Robin) has been temporarily suspended.
Traffic jams were created in the Nandina Bazar area due to the August 5 victory procession and rally organized by Jamalpur Sadar Upazila BNP.
Sharifpur Union Chhatra Dal General Secretary Amit Hasan Robin expressed his anger on social media Facebook over this situation.
He wrote on his ID, is this a rally or suffering? He also posted pictures of several public transport vehicles stuck in traffic jams on social media.
It is learned that he has been relieved of his post as the general secretary of Chhatra Dal's Sharifpur Union branch on charges of violating party discipline due to the comments made on Facebook. When Amit Hasan Robin was called to inquire about this, he hung up the phone without speaking.
District Chhatra Dal President Atiqur Rahman said in this regard, "Amit Hasan has been relieved of his post on charges of violating organizational discipline. How can he give a negative status about a program announced by the center?" We have doubts whether he is our man or not.’
Sharifpur Union Jubo Dal General Secretary Nur Islam said, Sharifpur Union Chhatra Dal General Secretary Amit Hasan Robin, a usurer, after abusing the Sharifpur Union Jubo Dal President and me, filed a false general diary against me and Jubo Dal President Mehedi Hasan Kanak at the police station.
