Alam Khan : This year's Biswa Ijtema ended with the final prayer. The final prayer began at 12:37 pm today, Sunday (February 16). The prayer was led by Maulana Yusuf bin Saad, the eldest son of Maulana Saad Kandhalbi of India.
Mohammad Sayem, coordinator of the Biswa Ijtema of Saad's followers, said that at 9:30 am on Sunday, Maulana Yusuf bin Saad Sahib Hedayet's speech began. The Bengali translation of which was done by Maulana Munir bin Yusuf. The final prayer began immediately after the end of Hedayet's speech.
The formalities of the last day of this Biswa Ijtema began with a speech after the Fajr prayers on Sunday. Maulana Morsalin of India gave a speech after Fajr, and Mufti Azim Uddin translated his speech into Bengali.
Gazipur Metropolitan Police (GMP) has increased security and surveillance on the occasion of the final prayer. This year's Bishwa Ijtema has come to an end.
