Commitment to make Bariya Union a modern and suitable for humane union: Not a chairman, but as a servant of the people--Jahangir Alam

Kazi Shahid, Gazipur Bureau Chief: Local BNP leader and former general secretary Jahangir Alam has expressed his commitment to make Bariya Union in Gazipur a hunger, poverty and unemployment-free, self-reliant, modern and suitable for humane union.

Keeping in mind the slogan "I will do work, build the country, Bangladesh first", he said-"I do not want to be a chairman, I want to be a servant of the people. I want to work by the side of the people to solve their problems. My goal is to transform Bariya Union into a humane, modern and livable union." Jahangir Alam said that the development of the union is not limited to building roads and ghats. Ensuring education, healthcare, communication system, employment, civic amenities and social security is equally important. Technical training, creation of small entrepreneurs and employment opportunities must be created to turn the youth into skilled manpower.

He further said that civil rights and fair services must be ensured for every person in Bariya Union. In the development plan, initiatives will be taken to identify the problems of the people and solve them on a priority basis by giving importance to the opinions of the common people.

When asked about healthcare, he said that effective initiatives need to be taken so that the poor and helpless people can easily get the necessary treatment and healthcare. In addition, importance should also be given to ensuring that no student drops out of school due to lack of money.

Development is not possible for a single person. Calling on everyone to work together, forgetting party, religion, caste and personal differences, he said that if the people can move forward in a planned manner, it is possible to transform Bariya Union into a smart, modern, self-reliant and humane union.”

He sought the prayers, love and cooperation of the union residents to maintain the continuity of development of the area under the leadership of Gazipur 5 constituency MP A. K. M. Fazlul Haque Milon.

Jahangir Alam's expectation is that through active participation of the people, proper planning and joint initiatives, it will be possible to develop Bariya Union as a safe, beautiful, modern and humane union.
