News Desk: A law will be formulated soon to bring back the laundered Tk 234 billion, said Shafiqul Alam, the press secretary to the chief advisor. The decision was taken at a high-level meeting chaired by chief advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus on Monday.
Shafiqul Alam said that 11 individuals and organizations have been charged with money laundering. Former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is number one among them.
The press secretary said this at a press briefing organized by the press wing of the chief advisor at the Foreign Service Academy on Bailey Road in the capital on Monday (March 10).
Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder, Deputy Press Secretary Apurba Jahangir and Assistant Press Secretary Suchismita Tithi were also present at the press briefing.
