RAB-7 raid team of Chattogram has arrested Naju Mia, the fugitive accused in the robbery case warrant of Bandarban Sadar Police Station, from Falharia Nechchavita area of South Rangunia Police Station after 11 years. Acting Deputy Director (Media) of RAB-7 Chattogram Major Md Sadman Saqib (AMC) confirmed the matter in a press release sent to the media on Monday. The press release also said that through secret information, it is known that the fugitive accused in the warrant of robbery case of Bandarban Sadar Police Station in 2013 is staying in Falharia area of South Rangunia Police Station of Chattogram. On the basis of such news, a raiding team of RAB-7, Chattogram conducted an operation in that area on Monday night. RAB arrested the accused Naju Mia (55) in the operation and took him into custody. He is the son of deceased Sheikh Ahmed of Sukhbilas village of Rangunia police station in Chattogram. The arrested accused had been hiding in different places of Chattogram district for 11 years to avoid arrest from law and order forces. On Monday, the accused was handed over to Chattogram's Rangunia police station.
