Staff Reporter : Additional Secretary Md. Rezanur Rahman joined the post of Chairman of Bangladesh Oil, Gas and Mineral Resources Corporation (Petrobangla) on January 02, 2025 (Thursday). Before joining Petrobangla, he was working as Additional Secretary in Power Department. He joined the 17th batch of BCS (Administration) cadre on 22-02-1998. During his tenure he served as First Class Magistrate, Assistant Commissioner (Land), Upazila Nirbahi Officer and DDLG in field administration. He has also served as the Director General of the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) and the Director General of the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) in the Ministry of Health, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. He graduated from Mechanical Department of Bangladesh Engineering University and Professional Masters Degree from ITC, Netherlands. He sought everyone's prayers and cooperation during his tenure as Chairman of Petrobangla.
