Bangladesh Railway has decided to launch two pairs of new trains, named "Seakat Express" and "Probal Express," on the Cox's Bazar-Chittagong rail route starting from February 1. This decision has been welcomed by the local residents and tourists of Cox's Bazar. The information was announced in a notice signed by A.C.O.P.S. Kamal Akhtar Hossain from the Chief Operating Superintendent's Office of Railway's Eastern Region on Monday (January 20).
The notice states that the decision to operate two pairs of trains on the Chittagong-Cox's Bazar-Chittagong route has been made for the safe travel of passengers and tourists from Cox's Bazar and surrounding areas. These trains will begin operations on February 1. The trains are numbered 821/824 (Seakat Express) and 822/823 (Probal Express), and they will not run on Mondays.
Train Schedule:
These two trains will make stops at four stations on the Cox's Bazar-Chittagong rail route.
Chittagong Railway Station Master Mohammad Abu Jafar Majumdar said that Bangladesh Railway has decided to operate these two pairs of trains from February 1 to benefit the people and tourists of the region.
